Inverness Antiques Ltd

Sadly the shop in Church Street, Inverness closed at the end of January 2016 as it was not generating sufficient profit to make it's existence sustainable in the long term. One good reason for taking the opportunity given to close the shop was that out part-time shop manager Simon, found full time employment elsewhere, thus achieveing one of the goals of setting up this Social Enterprise, namely to help young people into full time employment. For the time being Inverness Antiqiues Ltd continues to trade both online and at Antique Fairs by which it is still hoped to raise funds for HIYFC. Much has been learned over the time that the shop was open, good contacts continue to be made and the work of HIYFC is yet being promoted. I especially thank those friends who have and who continue to help Reg Campbell (our previous Chairperson) with this venture in its changed situation.

Deep Impact

Deep Impact is a conference based in Aviemore hosted by a group of Christian organisations and agencies.  They consider it their mission "to encourage and enable the Church and wider Christian community in Scotland to go and help young people encounter Jesus and grow as His disciples".

The intention of the conference is for "Christians from difference agencies and churches to come together to share ideas, expertise and experience, in order to encourage and resource Christian youth work across the nation."

Our PDW Linda has been to the conference on a number of occassions and highly recommends it for those already involved, or interested in being involved in Christian youth work or even those supporting Christian youth work in a church or community setting..

Early bird bookings for the 2018 conference will open in September.
